You’ve been waiting weeks for this big day – and in many cases, months and years as you’ve dreamed of keeping your very own family milk cow. You’ve jumped in and are ready to go, but still have so many questions! And perhaps they’re starting to keep you up at night.
I hear you. I’ve been there. I’m a forge-ahead-and-figure-it-out-as-I-go kind gal (it drives my husband crazy), and I found myself frantically researching and reading all the things in the weeks leading up to Sandy’s due date. And yet – I still had SO many questions.
I was making lists in my head, reviewing all the things I knew, and planning for worst-case scenarios as I lay in bed at night. But when the big day came, I found that a barely-legible note I had quickly scribbled after a casual conversation with Sandy’s previous owner turned out to be the most helpful information of all.
Keeping a family cow can feel super overwhelming in the beginning, so I’ve expanded on that note, adding in my own research, the many conversations I’ve had since with fellow milk cow owners, and my own experiences, to create a 23-page Essential Guide for When Your Milk Cow Calves to give you the information you need to feel confident and prepared when the big day comes.
It’s located in my store and a resource you’ll be so glad to have on hand.
