Farming is (and always has been) about community and we love to share our farm with you. Join us for a special event on the farm – to learn more about where your food comes from, to enjoy wholesome family fun, to feel the good ache of muscles well-used in good honest hard work, to ask a zillion questions, to soak up the quiet beauty of the land, and to learn new skills.
Come. Join us on the farm.
Family Night On The Farm
Once a month (or so) while the weather is fine(ish), we host a family-friendly work party. Bring your kids, your gloves, and a treat to share. Work as much (or as little) as you like. We’ll have several projects to work on so you can jump in wherever you like. Learn new skills, make new friends, get in a workout, and help us make the farm a delight.
My grandad always used to say “Many hands make light work.” We’re counting on yours!

Photos On The Farm
You want beautiful photos that showcases the essence of who you are and there’s no better backdrop than the beauty of a working family farm. Freshly mown hayfields, a century-old barn, an orchard overlooking our small river valley with the white barn in the background, cows quietly grazing in the distance, the meandering creek bubbling through its banks – every corner of the farm is ripe with inspiration!
From family photos to engagements and weddings – you really can’t beat the iconic beauty of the American family farm.
So bring your photographer and explore the farm to your heart’s content, snapping photos along the way. We’ll show you our favorite spots; the farm is at your disposal.

Family Farm Tours
Have a little one who’s enamored with all things farm? Want to make a birthday extra special? Or just introduce your family to honest-to-goodness screen-free farm life? Bring your crew for a family farm tour. You’ll meet all the animals (pigs, chickens, milk cows, and a horse!), have a chance to gather eggs and/or garden produce (depending on the season), ask all the questions, explore our century-old barn, and hike down through lovely pastures to throw sticks into the creek and catch a frog.
Tours last 45-60mins; please call/text Raelene at 330-715-1052 to make a reservation: (frogs not guaranteed)
*Cost: $50
Intensive Educational Farm Tours
You’ve got a dream – to have your very own farm or homestead and you’ve got a zillion questions about how to make it happen. Come on over and we’ll talk all things farming and homesteading – from keeping chickens and no-till and permaculture gardening, to keeping a family cow and intensive rotational grazing. How to start, when to level up, and what to focus on.
We started from scratch; you can too. But it sure makes an awful big difference when you’ve got someone local (in your own climate and time zone!) who’s been there, learned from trial and error and experience, and can answer your questions in real time and help guide you on your way.
Tours last 2-3 hours and can be tailored to your particular interests/needs; please call/text Raelene at 330-715-1052 to make a reservation
*Cost: $125
