Pork Fat

Raw pork fat—that is not rendered into lard.

You can buy the pork fat and render your own lard! Grass fed and grass finished pork fat is sold for $10 per pound of raw pork fat.

Lard is a great substitute for butter, shortening, oil or any other fat in recipes. Just make sure you look up the correct conversions for the replacements. You can also use lard to season your cast iron pans and fry all types of food.
